Research interests: Prof. Matok’s group is studying the use, safety, and effectiveness of drugs, mainly in special populations (pregnant women, children, and the elderly), using pharmacoepidemiological research methods, including computerized databases (“big data”) and advanced meta-analysis methods. His group has started studying the use of Artificial Intelligence applications to evaluate drug safety and improve treatment for patients. They are studying the Safety and Efficacy of medical cannabis, using big data from the Israeli Health Ministry.
