Research Interest: The main research trust of the lab is microbes attached to surfaces (biofilms). We investigate “life” in the biofilm as each biofilm differs from another. We examine microbes immobilized in biofilm on: transcriptomic, proteomic, metabolomic, levels using techniques as computational analysis alongside with biochemical methods. Next, we develop new means to affect the biofilm (drugs and drug delivery technologies). Among them are cannabinoids and endocannabinoids.
