| Extraction, solubilization and delivery of Cannaboids using novel nanodelivery liquid vehicles

Nissim Garti Ph.D., Rotem Edri, Sharon Garti-Levy

The research group has been working during the last year in developing novel nano-delivery vehicles. Using Monte Carlo Simulations and other physical understanding we can design and prepare novel nano sized liquid vehicles of condensed reverse  swollen micelles.  The structures are "tailor-made" for each specific drug and for each specific application (oral, IV, dermal, transdermal and ocular). The selection of the ingredients allows the structures to self-assemble and to be thermodynamically stable. The loaded droplets are mono dispersed and provide physical and chemical stability to the drugs.

The systems allow sustained and prolonged as well as enhanced permeation across the human membrane.
